The classy and beautiful twilight wedding of Jim and Jane took place in the stunning Museum of Wales. Jim and Jane met in work and were best friends for a long time before they formed a romantic relationship and their love and friendship shone through the whole day. We began the day at Jane and Jim’s home for bridal preparations. The house quickly became busy as Jane’s twelve (that’s right twelve) bridesmaids arrived. During the preparations I took some time to photograph the dress from All About Eve by Lou Lou Bridal and flowers. As you can imagine there was a lot of bustle in the house but before long it was time to leave for the Museum.
On arriving at the museum, I met up with Jim, he had taken the lead on lots of the planning for the wedding and was excited to get the evening underway. The ceremony took place in one of the stunning galleries in the museum. Jane was led down the aisle by her dancing bridesmaids, among their number were Jim’s daughters and Jane’s friends from Marconi and football. The ceremony was beautiful and personal and included readings by some of their closest friends and beautiful music by the harpist Lowri Mair.
The ceremony was followed by drinks and canapes un the adjoining galleries, there was also time for some group photos before moving back down the main hall of the museum for the wedding breakfast, speeches and dancing with the band Brother Ray Music. This wedding was a truly beautiful night and I am honoured to have been part of Jane and Jim’s day.
