A little while ago I had the absolute pleasure of working with Leanne and Leigh on their beautiful wedding. I took a bit of a trip down memory lane on this wedding, Leanne and I were in the same year at school more years ago than I care to remember. Our shared memories made this wedding extra special for me and I loved every minute of it.
Bryngarw House is a beautiful wedding venue and once again it didn’t disappoint. I arrived to cloudless blue skies and sunshine. The weather, coupled with this stunning venue, made it a wedding that is every bride’s dream. There was a relaxed start to the day in the bridal preparation room so there was time for me to capture images of the details of the day as well as Leanne and her bridesmaids getting ready. One of my favourite things of a bridal preparation shoot is the time I have to photograph details such as the dress and rings. When I was returning the rings, I found Stephen making some last-minute edits to his speech.
After a relaxed start, things got a little but stressful when Leanne had some difficulty getting her Timeless Elegance Bridal dress on. As often happens, I ended up abandoning the camera to help get the dress on. The delay meant that Leanne arrived beautifully and fashionably late! Leanne entered the ceremony to music by Elin Lloyd Harpist, the ceremony was full of laughter and happy tears. There was some confusion over the vows which meant a few laughs before Leanne was a bit overcome with emotion and shed some happy tears when she said her vows.
After the ceremony there was time to capture some beautiful photos of Leanne and Leigh with their family before moving into the marquee for the wedding breakfast and later the evening celebrations. This was a beautiful wedding and I had a fantastic time working with you. Thank you so much for asking me to be part of your day!
