Spring Wedding

RMPrichard (599)RMPrichard (599) Rachel and Mark chose to get married at the beautiful LLechwen Hall and the venue did not disappoint. It was an early start for Rachel and her five bridesmaids and her flower girl daughter. The spring flowers were blooming in the gardens and although the wind was a little chilly there was a feel of spring and mew beginnings in the air. I took the opportunity in the lull in proceedings to capture a few details of the day as the rooms were being set up. I also caught Victoria, today’s event manager, making some last minute tweaks to the decorations. All the preparations went to time and the atmosphere was relaxed and calm. The real emotions began when Rachel’s sons arrived, they looked so handsome in their suits and on a day such as this what mother could not be moved to tears to see them? After an emotional moment we prepared for the wedding ceremony. RMPrichard (240)RMPrichard (240) RMPrichard (239)RMPrichard (239)

Rachel, accompanied by her mum, followed her children and bridesmaids down the aisle. She was met by a very happy, if not a little nervous, Mark. The service was beautiful and proved a bit too emotional for Alfie whose emotions got the better of him for a while. RMPrichard (258)RMPrichard (258) RMPrichard (370)RMPrichard (370)

Following the service there was time for chatting and more photographs; some formal, some not so formal but all lots of fun. After a quick scoot around the tables at the wedding breakfast I left the party to enjoy the wonderful menu. No one really wants their photo taken when they are eating anyway! The excitement of the day continued from the day into the night, there was time for some musical “entertainment” provided by the children. The star of the evening on the dance floor following the first dance was without doubt Archie; he had some really impressive moves and clearly loved every moment of the day.
